The Virgin America Visa Card is Issued by Barclays Bank Delaware
1. Points required to redeem an Elevate travel reward on Virgin America will be publicly available on a seat and flight-specific basis and are subject to change. Taxes and applicable fees are extra. Domestic reward bookings are subject to a security fee of $2.50 per segment, payable by credit card or Virgin America credit file. The Passenger Facility Charge and Segment Fees are waived for domestic reward bookings. For international reward bookings, Virgin America guests are responsible for the taxes and fees incurred from international travel. These taxes and fees are subject to change at the discretion of each country's government and also vary from country to country depending on the origin and destination. 2. Offer subject to credit approval. Benefits will vary depending upon the card for which you are approved. Not everyone will qualify for the Signature Card and its benefits. If at the time of your application you do not meet the credit criteria previously established for this offer, or the income you report is insufficient based on your current obligations, we may not be able to open an account for you or you may receive a Platinum card. See the enclosed Terms and Conditions for information about the account terms and benefits that will apply if you are not approved for the Signature Card. This offer is available to new Cardmembers only. 3 Bonus Points: Cardmembers approved for the Virgin America Visa Signature or Platinum Card with $49 annual fee will receive 10,000 Bonus Points awarded to your Virgin America Rewards Account at the close of the first billing statement in which you make your first purchase or balance transfer (that is not returned or rescinded) and have paid the Annual Fee on the account (and such fee is not rescinded). Cardmembers approved for the Virgin America Visa Signature or Platinum Card with no annual fee will receive 2,500 Bonus Points awarded to your Virgin America Rewards Account at the close of the first billing statement in which you make your first purchase or balance transfer (that is not returned or rescinded).
Balance Transfer Bonus Points: Cardmembers approved for the Virgin America Visa Signature or Platinum Card with $49 annual fee earn one (1) point per one dollar ($1) in balances that post to your account in the first 30 days after your new account is opened, up to a maximum of 5,000 points. Cardmembers approved for the Virgin America Visa Signature or Platinum Cardwill earn one (1) point per one dollar ($1) in balances that post to your account in the first 30 days after your new account is opened, up to a maximum of 2,500 points.
Balance Transfers are subject to a Balance Transfer fee. Balance Transfer Checks do not qualify for bonus points. See the Terms and Conditions for complete details about this offer.
4. Cardmembers approved for the Virgin America Visa Signature or Platinum Card with $49 annual fee will earn three (3) Elevate points for every one dollar ($1) of net purchases of Virgin America tickets or Red in-flight purchases with the credit card account, rounded to the nearest dollar and one (1) Elevate point for every one dollar ($1) of net purchases made everywhere else the account is used, rounded to the nearest dollar. Cardmembers approved for the Virgin America Visa Signature or Platinum Card with no annual fee will receive one (1) Elevate point for every one dollar ($1) of net purchases made everywhere the account is used, rounded to the nearest dollar. 5. Companion Ticket Discount Code: The Primary Cardmember is eligible to receive one (1) one-hundred fifty dollar ($150.00) Virgin America Companion Ticket Discount Code each year. The First code will be sent after the Account has been used for at least one purchase and the annual fee has been paid. The code can be redeemed for $150.00 off a companion ticket when traveling with another passenger on a paid published airfare on the same itinerary. Discount code is only valid on roundtrip ticket purchases and cannot be used on existing bookings. Minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 passengers are required to use the discount and a maximum discount per booking is $150. Please allow 6-8 weeks for code delivery. 14-day advance purchase is required The Virgin America Visa Credit Card must be used to purchase travel in order to receive the discount. Virgin America is solely responsible for the electronic delivery of the Discount Code. Discount Codes will be sent via email only. Other restrictions apply and will be provided on the discount email from Virgin America. Virgin America Visa Cardmembers with no annual fee are not eligible for this benefit.
6. Cardmembers approved for the Virgin America Visa Card will earn an additional 300 Bonus Points for every $5,000 in net purchases per year, up to a Maximum of 1,200 annual Bonus Points.
